On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the founding of medical education and science in Pleven, Medical University will welcome guests from Bulgaria and the world from 1 to 3 of November, 2024. We expect active participation of both scientists and leading authorities from academia and clinical practice, and young researchers. The conference will offer an opportunity to meet friends, network and hear about the latest developments and research in medicine, pharmacy and public health.
The format of the Jubilee Scientific Conference also includes the scientific events traditional for Medical University – Pleven:
- JUBILEE SCIENTIFIC SESSION "20 YEARS OF THE FACULTY OF PUBLIC HEALTH"
- XXII NATIONAL SCIENTIFIC SESSION FOR STUDENTS AND TEACHERS OF THE MEDICAL COLLEGE
- VIII NATIONAL STUDENT SESSION ON HEALTH CARE.
In parallel with the Jubilee Scientific Conference on November 1, 2024, an Annual Scientific Conference will be held to present the results of the implementation of the Strategic Research and Innovation Program for the Development of MU – Pleven.

GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACT PREPARATION
- The abstract should be submitted in Bulgarian and English, font: Times New Roman, size 12 pt, spacing 1.5.
- The abstract should not exceed 200 words of body text, i.e. title, authors and place of work, keywords are not counted.
- The abstract should be structured as follows: introduction, purpose, materials and methods, results and conclusion.
- The title should be short and informative, beginning with a capital letter. The use of abbreviations in the title should be avoided.
- Authors' names should be presented with full first and last name and initials of the second name (without degrees and titles).
- The authors' place of work should be indicated below the authors' names, indicated by a superscript number.
- The author's telephone number and e-mail address for correspondence are indicated.
- The abstract should be free of graphics and figures.
The papers can be submitted in full text for publication in the Journal of Biomedical & Clinical Research (https://jbcr.arphahub.com/). The materials from the scientific sessions in the form of full-text reports will be reviewed and published in electronic editions with ISBNs, which will be referenced in the National Reference List of Contemporary Bulgarian Peer-Reviewed Scientific Journals.
