From April 23 to 25, 2026, Medical University - Pleven hosted the Second National Conference of the Bulgarian Association for Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery (BAMIRS), bringing together leading surgeons, researchers, and medical professionals from Bulgaria and abroad.
The event also featured a pre-congress course for residents and young doctors, supporting the next generation of clinical excellence in minimally invasive and robotic surgery, with international participation from leading experts of The Society of Laparoscopic & Robotic Surgeons (SLS).
