- A significant new milestone has been achieved with the registration of a new outpatient clinical and diagnostic facility at Medical University - Pleven, creating additional opportunities to integrate advanced diagnostics, patient care, education, and scientific research within the Centre's ecosystem.
- The new facility will support molecular diagnostics, genomic profiling, personalized oncology, rare disease diagnostics, and clinical microbiology, while accelerating the translation of scientific discoveries into clinical practice.
- As Prof. Savelina Popovska, Head of the Department of Pathology at Medical University – Pleven and Lead of the Precision Medicine Division at the Leonardo da Vinci Centre of Competence, notes: "The newly registered facility will implement advanced genomic technologies for precision diagnostics and personalized medicine."
- With a strong focus on molecular diagnostics and genomic profiling across multiple cancer types, as well as highly specialized diagnostics for hereditary and rare genetic diseases, the facility will help advance personalized patient care and support more informed treatment selection, including targeted therapies.
