The subject of Pathological Anatomy is divided into two courses: General Pathology (4th and 3rd semester) and Clinical Pathology (6th and 7th semester. There is a written exam at the end of both courses. The training is mandatory for medical students and includes 90 hours of theory and 120 practicals and seminars.
Contents of training course:
- General pathology: degenerative, circulatory, inflammatory processes, tumors and immunology.
- Clinical pathology (system pathology): clinicopathological correlations of diseases by systems:
- The cardiovascular system
- Pathology of the respiratory system
- Pathology of the female reproductive system and the breast
- Pathology of pregnancy and the newborn
- Pathology of the male reproductive system
- Pathology of the secretory system
- Pathology of the blood formation system and the lymphatic system
- Paediatric pathology
- Pathology of the nervous system
- Pathology of the endocrine system
- Pathology of infectious diseases.
