The Department of Cardiology, Pulmology and Endocrinology was established in 2008, following a decision of AC of MU-Pleven to separate the Department of Internal Medicine in order to optimize the structure of the Faculty.
Since its establishment, Head of the Department has been Assoc. Prof. Dr. Snezhana Tomova Tisheva-Gospodinova, MD. Department of Cardiology, Pulmology and Endocrinology is divided into three main Divisions:
- Cardiology
- Pulmonology
- Endocrinology
