The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry was established in 1974 and is structured in two sections:
• Chemistry
• Biochemistry
The academic staff of the Department includes highly qualified teachers – Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors. The academic staff is engaged in teaching students of different specialties: Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Midwifery, Medical Laboratory Assistant, Pharmacy Assistant, Public Health Protection, Ergotherapy and rehabilitation.
