After receiving two positive accreditations from the National Agency for Evaluation and Accreditation (NAOA), the Ministry of Education and Science published a draft Decision of the Council of Ministers proposing to the National Assembly the establishment of a Faculty of Veterinary Medicine within the structure of Medical University – Pleven.
On June 11, 2025, the National Assembly voted and unanimously adopted, with 161 votes in favor, the decision to establish a Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Medical University – Pleven.
